Custom Made Molds
At Classic Baskets & Gifts, we proudly offer custom made candy and chocolate molds. We use only FDA / food quality plastic which works well for molding most candies and chocolates, but is not recommended for hard candies (due to the high temperatures of the candy).
Set-up fees for custom made molds start at $75.00. When submitting your design, black and white camera ready art work is preferred. This will be reviewed upon receipt and we will contact you with questions or suggestions before any work is done. A price estimate will be provided once the artwork is approved by both parties, and a deposit will be required before the template is started. Once the template is finished we will send you a sample. Changes that need made after the template is formed will be subject to a $30.00 per hour reset fee. It is very important to have your design correct when it is first submitted to save time and money, on both our parts!
When the template is approved, we will begin forming the molds. Mold prices start at $5.00 each.
We reserve the right to retain ownership of the template for the molds that are made, but you will own the molds. This is to allow us duplicate molds for you in the future without you having to pay the setup fees. We assure you that we will NOT use or sell your design to anyone else without written permission from you.
We will not create molds from any copyrighted or licensed items to which you do not own the rights. We will use copyrighted items if you can provide a copyright/license release form from the copyright holder, allowing us to provide products for you. This is for our protection as well as yours.
